Stay at Green Lord Domaine
A home of exception, at a human scale
In the peaceful countryside of Lamentin, a former estate has become one of the most confidential addresses in Guadeloupe: three lodges nestled in a 3,000 m² tropical garden, a saltwater pool, a spa, and the table of Cheffe Gilda, trained at the École Ducasse.
Here, time seems to stretch, and every corner invites you to slow down.
A luxury without ostentation, that travellers have recognised year after year — Traveller Review Awards 2024, 2025 and 2026 — up to a score of 9.9 out of 10.
The luxury of the heart, beyond time.
Out of the Ordinary
Our story
This home has been part of Gilda's life for nearly thirty years. She made it what she had always wanted to offer: "an intimate place, where our guests feel at home, in a setting of natural greenery".
She designed everything — the lodges, the garden, the art of welcoming — and took the kitchen: at Le Gild's, she celebrates the forgotten treasures of Creole terroir, from little grouper to wild herbs wrongly called weeds. With Jean-Marc, she welcomes each guest as a friend of the house.
An Italian guest once wrote that the Domaine was "a place of the soul". We would not have dared say it ourselves. We spend our days trying to deserve it.
A lush, unusual setting
IIdeally located in the town of Lamentin — a French commune classified for Art and History — at the end of a country lane along the sugar cane fields of Le Grand Boyer, Green Lord Domaine is an estate apart.
Nestled in the heart of a luxuriant 3,000 m² garden, the Domaine weaves together — for you alone — elegance, conviviality and the art of slow living.
In this former estate, nature is unusual, generous and ever-present: the Creole savanna, the scent of local flowers, the song of birds, the murmur of water — first players in the sensory journey that awaits.
Out of the ordinary, by choice
Green Lord Domaine is a private estate, fitted with refinement to offer a rare quality of comfort and equipment.
In the open countryside, with its large L-shaped saltwater pool opening onto the garden, the Domaine is dedicated to those who love the countryside, bohemian-chic decoration, spacious and light-filled rooms opening onto ventilated terraces — and stays that take the time to live.
Inside the Domaine
— a large pool area with a magnificent L-shaped saltwater pool and a luxuriant garden
— three high-standing lodges entirely dedicated to our guests, true private suites from 70 to 97 m²
— Le Gild's, an exceptional gourmet table — a lounge bar facing the pool
An exceptional gourmet table
In a bohemian-chic, contemporary setting, Cheffe Gilda — trained at the École Ducasse — guides you through an eclectic cuisine inspired by Creole heritage and world flavours: a cuisine straight from the market, built around the morning's catch and local farming, celebrating even the forgotten treasures of the terroir.
Two Saturdays a month, Le Gild's opens its intimate table — fewer than fifteen seats, for a singular culinary experience. And for the curious, Cheffe Gilda shares her secrets through Creole cooking workshops: transmission is part of the house.
The Lounge Bar
Facing the pool, in open spaces of 300 m², the Ti Punch Bar is the beating heart of the Domaine: our generous "Tutti Green Lord" salads, our house cocktails, and the softness of Creole evenings.
Music has its place here: an old acoustic piano awaits artists and music lovers.
A bespoke service, in direct touch
At the scale of a home, the Domaine offers you far more than accommodation: gourmet dining in room service or at Le Gild's, the preparation of an intimate celebration — birthday, marriage proposal, honeymoon —, mid-stay housekeeping, a chef at home or treatments in your lodge, all orchestrated by our concierge.
Gilda and Jean-Marc, your hosts, are never far while always respecting your privacy. Whatever your wish, you are never more than a message away from us.
Ideally located, between sea and mountains
Green Lord Domaine sits in the peaceful countryside of Lamentin, at the very heart of the Guadeloupean butterfly — and that changes everything: 25 minutes from the international airport, 20 minutes from the fine-sand beaches of Northern Basse-Terre (Vinty in Sainte-Rose, La Perle and Grande Anse in Deshaies), 20 minutes from the Écrevisses waterfall and the tropical forest, 5 minutes from the hot springs of Ravine Chaude, 10 minutes from the Bis waterfall, 40 minutes from the Cousteau Reserve, and within reach of the boats to Les Saintes and Marie-Galante.
Your days radiate across the whole archipelago; your evenings return to the silence of the countryside, the birds and the stars. The choice of those who want to see everything — and sleep well.
